I graduated as an architect from the Superior Technical School of Architecture in Seville in 2004, specialising in urban development. My professional activities are mainly undertaken in the Almería and Málaga provinces. Since 2005, I have collaborated with the Díaz Tera Architects Studio (Huércal de Almería) also working in Marbella on a regular basis. I have undertaken several projects in the provinces of Málaga, Seville and Huelva for some public entities as well as private companies.

Brief professional autobiography

I have been continually dedicated to this exciting profession since 2004, planning and building. I have had the good fortune to work with very competent colleagues from whom I have learned a great deal (and continue to do so daily) as well as a good example from my father, a technical architect, who has lived the profession with intensity and passion from the first day. I am very grateful to him.

In 2004 I founded “Dávila + De la Vega Architects” together with Daniel Rincón de la Vega, sharing the passion of the first contracts and the success of a job well done. From the result of many hours of study, the home at c/Alonso Carrillo, 21 (Seville, 2004-2007) took form; a field of experimentation on spatial resources that I have been able to continue exploring many years later in Almería. Thanks to Paco, my cousin and the owner, for this first opportunity. Also an affectionate remembrance of Santiago Oliver, for his advice and always entertaining stories.

Since November 2005, I have formed part of Díaz Tera Architects, together with Díaz and Carmen Tera. I have shared the daily joys and sorrows of the profession with them in our Huércal de Almería studio. I thank them for making me feel part of this small family business, for their advice, corrections and the opportunity to work on very diverse projects.

Finally, I would not want to forget all I have learned in the visits to works built by FERAN S.L. in Marbella, together with my father and Fernando Olmedo, and those I have been able to attend in Almería together with Amador and Juan Díaz, of PROCOSAL S.L.
